Hudson High School, Hudson Academy, and Hudson Primary Academy were placed on controlled campus status on August 14, 2026, after Pasco Sheriff's Office deputies responded to reports of a suspicious individual in the area.
Deputies determined there was no immediate threat to the schools, and campuses resumed normal operations shortly after the investigation concluded. The Pasco Sheriff's Office stated the action was taken "out of an abundance of caution."
The schools have since returned to regular operations with no further incidents reported.
