I-405 and SR 9 will see multiple lane closures starting Friday night, Aug. 28, for construction work, according to WSDOT.
Southbound I-405 will close from milepost 14.25 to 12.5 from 10 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday. Northbound I-405 will have multiple closures from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, including all lanes from Northeast 70th Place to Northeast 85th Street. SR 9 will have single-lane traffic with alternating signals near Kalloch Road (MP 59) until Sept. 14 for fish passage construction.
WSDOT notes delays are expected during the closures. The SR 9 project webpage provides more details on the fish passage work. Other closures include State Route 599, 547, and a long-term I-5 lane closure in Fife through August 2027.
