Kennewick ensures public notice for ordinances and meetings

Kennewick's City Clerk now ensures public notifications for new ordinances, meetings, and hearings as required by RCW 35a. 12.160. The city will publish notices in the Tri-City Herald's digital edition and on its website to reach more residents.

The city will publish notices at least ten days before hearings or meetings, or 24 hours in special cases. Notices will be posted on the city's website and at City Hall for public access.
