Paul R. Smith K-8 school in Pasco returned to normal operations Tuesday afternoon after temporarily placing campus on controlled status due to a report of a potential weapon on school grounds.
Pasco Sheriff's Office officials confirmed they quickly located the student involved and determined no weapon was present. The school resumed regular classes after the investigation concluded, with no safety threat remaining at the campus.
