🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Both directions of State Route 169 will close between Southeast 332nd Street and Plass Road near Jones Lake starting 12:01 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17, for 35 days to remove a fish barrier.

Local access remains open north and south of the closure, and businesses along SR 169 will stay accessible. WSDOT will provide signed detours around the closure, which is scheduled to end at 5 a.m. on Sept. 21.

The closure is part of a project to improve fish passage in the area, as noted in WSDOT’s public records.
