Tri-Cities Announces New Public Transit Hours

🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Tri-Cities Community Dial-a-Ride service will extend operating hours starting August 1, 2026, according to a July 17, 2026, public notice. The service will now operate from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, up from the previous 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. schedule.

The change aims to better serve residents with mobility challenges, particularly during early morning and evening commutes. The Tri-Cities Transit Department stated the adjustment aligns with increased ridership data collected over the past year.

Tri-Cities Transit Department officials confirmed the new hours will take effect on August 1, 2026, and will be reflected in the updated service schedule available online and at local transit centers.
