πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

WSDOT announced multiple highway closures effective this week for construction and maintenance work. The most immediate changes begin Tuesday evening, Aug. 4, with lane closures on SR 538, I-90, and I-405.

Closures include a single-lane closure on US 97 between Wapato and Union Gap, a two-lane closure on I-90 between Eighth Avenue South and the floating bridge, and a lane shift on SR 538 for paving. Most closures will end early Wednesday morning, Aug. 5, with some extending through the week.

WSDOT advises travelers to expect delays and plan ahead. The agency provided specific dates, times, and locations for each closure, including expected end times. The longest ongoing closure is on SR 203, which will alternate traffic with flaggers from Aug. 3 through Aug. 28.
