WSDOT has announced several road closures and lane restrictions effective this week in the Tri-Cities area.
Northbound US-395 near Pasco will have double lane closures from Sunday, Sept. 13 through Thursday, Sept. 17 from 6 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. nightly for bridge work. Westbound I-82 near Kennewick will have a single-lane closure on Monday, Sept. 14 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for road work. SR 224 in West Richland remains closed until further notice for a roundabout construction project, with detours in place. SR 730 between US 12 and the Oregon State Line will have flagger-controlled alternating traffic Monday through Friday until further notice. Chip seal work on both directions of SR 240 in Richland will continue Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. SR 124 in Waitsburg will remain closed until Sept. 18 for environmental remediation work.
Residents should expect delays and follow detour routes when traveling through these work zones. The closures are part of ongoing infrastructure maintenance and construction projects throughout the Tri-Cities region.
