Tri-Cities Roads Closed for Construction

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

Starting Monday, Aug. 17, both directions of SR 169 will close between Southeast 332nd Street and Plass Road for 35 days to remove a fish barrier. The closure will impact traffic for 35 days until September 21.

WSDOT reports that local access remains permitted north and south of the closure, and businesses along SR 169 will stay open. Detours will guide passenger and freight vehicles around the work zone.

Other closures include US 2 paving from milepost 105 to 109, US 12 bridge repairs over I-5, I-5 southbound paving between Barnes Drive and Exit 49, and SR 9 fish passage installation south of Mount Vernon Big Lake Road.
