WSDOT announced multiple highway closures and lane restrictions in the Tri-Cities area for maintenance and utility work beginning August 3 and extending through August 10.
The closures include a full closure of northbound I-405 from August 7-10, a two-lane closure on I-90 from August 4-5, and a single-lane closure on SR 20 from August 4-5. Other affected routes include SR 522, SR 526, US 2, and SR 22. Each closure has specific start and end times and locations as noted in the WSDOT announcement.
WSDOT states that signed detours will be in place for the I-405 closures, and flaggers will be used for some lane restrictions. The closures are scheduled for overnight hours or specific daytime windows to minimize disruption to daily traffic patterns.
