🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

The Tri-Cities Transit Board approved a new bus route, Route 7, during a July 15, 2026 meeting.

The route will connect Southridge and Oakwood neighborhoods with the downtown transit hub, operating Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The board cited increased demand from new housing developments in those areas as the reason for the change.

The service begins September 15, 2026, and will run every 20 minutes during peak hours.
