WSP Enforces Traffic During Water Follies

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

Washington State Patrol will conduct high-visibility enforcement patrols July 24-26 during Water Follies weekend in Benton and Franklin counties. The patrols will focus on speeding, impaired driving, aggressive driving, distracted driving, and seat belt compliance. WSP Aviation, motorcycle troopers, and unmarked vehicles will be used for enforcement.

Motorists should plan ahead, use designated drivers, and expect delays. The main entrance from westbound SR-240 to Columbia Park will have one lane closed from 4-6 p.m. on July 25 and 26. The westbound off ramp of SR-240 to Edison Street will also close during those times. Vehicles cannot stop on SR-240 shoulders for spectator drop-offs.
